2016 Palmetto Lecturer Tsiatis Visits Statistics Department

Butch Tsiatis, of the Department of Statistics at North Carolina State University, spoke on March 24 and March 25.

Dr. Tsiatis is the inaugural Gertrude M. Cox Distinguished Professor of Statistics at North Carolina State University. He is known internationally for his statistical methods research, particularly in the areas of survival analysis, semiparametric methods, cost and quality of life data analysis, and causal inference.  Dr. Tsiatis visited the statistics department in late March to give the 2016 Palmetto Lectures.  Please see the bottom of the Palmetto Lecture page for slides from his Palmetto Lectures.
